Job summary

National Center for Urban Solutions is seeking a Coordinator of Career Technical Education to plan, coordinate, and deliver CTE programs across Academy for Urban Scholars Campuses. The role requires leadership of teachers and administrators, development of new programs, and annual state reporting to ensure alignment with CTE standards.

The position involves managing the CTE budget, coordinating grants, and building strong partnerships with postsecondary institutions and industry.

Qualifications

• Leadership and public relations skills through knowledge of the organization and administration of secondary career technical education.
• Ability to hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff; solve problems and manage multiple tasks.
• Punctuality, attendance and professional conduct are required; proficiency with district technology is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver CTE for Academy for Urban Scholars Campuses.
• Provide leadership to admins and teachers to ensure curriculum meets CTE standards.
• Develop and manage the CTE budget and oversee program development and annual reviews.
• Coordinate grants, forms and reports as required by state and federal agencies.
• Supervise staff and communicate project status to the superintendent.
• Design and implement in-service training and tech-integrated instruction.
• Establish work timelines and build industry partnerships; coordinate work-based learning.
