Job summary

The National Center for Urban Solutions - NCUS seeks a Coordinator of Career Technical Education to plan, coordinate, and implement CTE programs across our Academy for Urban Scholars campuses in Columbus. You will lead curriculum development, align with state standards, and drive professional development for CTE teachers.

The role involves building dual credit partnerships with postsecondary institutions, coordinating grants and reports, and serving as a liaison between district, industry

Qualifications

• Experience leading CTE programs and curriculum development.
• Ability to align programs with state-approved CTE standards.
• Experience coordinating professional development for teachers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver CTE programs across campuses.
• Lead administration and teachers to meet CTE standards.
• Develop and manage the Academy for Urban Scholars CTE budget.
• Provide leadership to staff for new programs and annual reviews.
• Coordinate grants and required reports with state and federal agencies.
• Supervise, evaluate and coordinate work for assigned staff.
• Communicate project status with the superintendent.
• Design and deliver in-service training for CTE staff.
• Partner with Technology Coordinator to integrate tech in instruction.
• Establish dual credit agreements with postsecondary schools.
• Act as liaison between business/industry and CTE programs.
• Coordinate work-based learning for CTE students.
• Participate in school board meetings and special assignments.
