Job summary

The National Center for Urban Solutions - NCUS seeks a Career Technical Education Facilitator to coordinate and implement career-based interventions for students transitioning from school to work or further education.

The role focuses on guiding students through career pathways, credentials, and postsecondary opportunities, while organizing workshops, boot camps, and advisory activities to support successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in education, counseling, career development, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement career-based intervention programs for students in CTE.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, and completion; update data in QuickBase.
• Facilitate career pathways decision making for scholars.
• Organize boot camps with resume writing, soft skills, and interview prep.
• Lead career development workshops and develop post-secondary access tools.
• Develop digitized passport system for post-secondary access.
• Support CTE curriculum development with student checklists and rubrics.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site visits and maintain credential enrollment in systems.
• Document career advising records for scholars, parents, guardians, and schools.
• Organize quarterly advisory board meetings with notes and plans.
• Develop work-based learning experiences through relationships with community partners.
• Stay informed on trends in career development and workforce readiness.
• Collaborate to integrate CTE into the curriculum and student support services.
