Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT and/or CT ARRT certification or registry eligibility, with registration within 90 days if eligible.
• Advanced CT certification within one year of becoming CT registry eligible.

Responsibilities

• Independently operates imaging equipment to complete CT procedures per protocol.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts practice to patient population and privacy requirements.
