Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and ensure patient safety in a hospital setting. You will perform CT procedures following department protocols and capture diagnostic images with technical expertise.

You will operate imaging equipment independently, apply ALARA to minimize dose, prepare rooms, obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation dose (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.
• Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and promote comfort and safety using AIDET.
• Position patients accurately, administer contrast agents, and ensure image quality through review and adjustments.
• Document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS, manage patient records, and support departmental workflows.
• Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and maintain safety protocols.

Education
