Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging in a hospital setting and provide a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure radiation safety, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, preparing patients with AIDET, administering contrast when needed, maintaining equipment, and supporting department operations while upholding compliance and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• At least 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required.

• Operate imaging equipment independently while minimizing radiation dose.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of rooms and equipment and report issues.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Provide patient comfort, privacy, and safety; administer contrast and position patients.
• Review image quality, document procedures, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department operations.
• Assist with clerical tasks and maintain a compliant workflow.

Role:

CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience at a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with expertise.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation dose.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of rooms and equipment, report issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and identify patients accurately before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET, addressing patient questions and reducing anxiety.
• Provide patient comfort, privacy, and safety, administering contrast and positioning patients correctly.
• Review and ensure image quality, document procedures accurately, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workflow, support regulatory compliance, and assist with clerical tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
