Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging in a hospital setting. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain strict protocols across departments.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, adjusting techniques for image quality, and finalizing studies in RIS/PACS. Certification in ARRT-R/CT and BLS is required, with at least one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images accurately.
  • Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to maintain image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, reporting issues promptly.
  • Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.
  • Explain procedures using AIDET, addressing patient questions to reduce anxiety.
  • Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety, providing age-appropriate care.
  • Administer contrast agents, perform venipuncture, and position patients correctly.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality, repeating or correcting as necessary, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department operations.
  • Assist with documentation, regulatory compliance, and department organization.
