Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging in a hospital setting. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and support patient care with a focus on safety and comfort.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) and BLS certifications required.
  • At least 1 year of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures following departmental protocols and ensure diagnostic image quality.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely, minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
  • Maintain equipment and rooms; report issues promptly.
  • Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and ensure patient identification.
  • Explain procedures clearly and promote patient comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast agents and position patients correctly.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and document in RIS/PACS.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control.
  • Organize workflows and ensure department compliance with regulations.

Role

CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and supporting patient care at a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures following departmental protocols, ensuring diagnostic image quality.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely, adjusting techniques to minimize radiation exposure (ALARA).
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, report issues promptly.
  • Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.
  • Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and promote comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast agents, position patients correctly, and apply safety measures.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or correct as needed, and document accurately in RIS/PACS.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control and equipment maintenance.
  • Organize workflows, support department operations, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 1 year of radiology experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS.
