Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a 36-hour-week schedule in the Weekend Program with a $5.00/hour differential for weekend hours. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy of imaging, and education of patients as part of a collaborative radiology team.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT (R) and CT certification, BLS within 60 days, and state licensure upon hire, with 1-2 years of CT experience preferred for Level

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and ARRT (R) registration required on hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days required.
• State licensure as applicable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exam per protocol.
• Review images for quality and appropriateness, ensure anatomy captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety and maintain safe environment.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT tech advances and participate in CE.
