Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital. The role requires ARRT (R) certification, CT specialty preference, and BLS. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality imaging.

Level II requires 3+ years CT experience and ongoing education in radiation safety. This position is part of a weekend program with a $5/hour differential on Saturdays and Sundays, located in Lafayette, Colorado.

Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) required on hire
• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) preferred
• BLS certification within 60 days required
• State licensure as applicable on hire required
• IV competency within 90 days required
• 3+ years CT Technologist experience preferred for Level II
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and preparation for exam
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines
• Complete studies within time expectations without compromising care
• Provide patient education and comfort
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other caregivers
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment
