Qualifications

• ARRT(R) CT certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days, required.
• State licensure in practice location, required upon hire.
• IV competency within 90 days, required.
• 3+ years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology via continuing education.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols.
