Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Colorado is seeking CT Technologists for a weekend program with a $5.00/hour differential on Saturdays and Sundays. The role calls for ARRT CT registration, BLS certification, state licensure as applicable, and 1–3+ years of CT experience depending on level.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) (CT) registration required upon hire.
• BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• State licensure as applicable upon hire.
• 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred for Level I.
• 3 years CT experience preferred for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide patient education and comfort; coordinate patient care with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in continuing education.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff in exam protocols and equipment.
