Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist (Level II preferred) to operate CT equipment, ensure safety, and produce high-quality images at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. The role is 36 hours weekly with a Friday–Sunday or alternate weekend schedule and a $5/hour weekend differential.

Qualifications include ARRT CT registration, BLS, state licensure as applicable, and 3+ years CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire, Required
• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - ARRT (R)(CT), Preferred
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, Required
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, Required
• IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
• For Colorado roles, Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred
• Facility-based certifications may be required, per each facility
• 1-2 years CT experience in a hospital setting, Preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems for quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prep
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and anatomical coverage
• Adhere to radiation safety and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Coordinate care and communicate with providers
• Stay updated through continuing education and training
• Instruct students and radiology staff on protocols and equipment
