Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification required at hire
• BLS certification required within 60 days
• State licensure as applicable at hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated with CT technology through continuing education
• Instruct students and staff in exam protocols and positioning
