Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. This role focuses on operating CT equipment, ensuring image quality, and patient safety while maintaining ARRT competency.

The position requires ARRT (R) certification, BLS, state licensure, IV competency, and experience in CT; Level II prefers 3+ years and fluoro certification (Colorado) is a plus. This is a weekend-program opportunity with a differential.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT (R) credential required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days, required.
• State licensure as applicable, upon hire, required.
• IV competency within 90 days, required.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado facilities.
• 1-2 years CT hospital experience preferred for Level I; 3+ years CT experience preferred for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and order verification; prepare patient for exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol; review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within established time frames without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address patient/family concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other care providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and protocols through continuing education.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols and equipment.
