Job summary

The position requires ARRT CT registration, BLS within 60 days, and state licensure upon hire, with 1–2 years CT experience preferred. Weekend differential applies for Saturday/Sunday hours.

Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) upon hire, required.
• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - ARRT (R)(CT), preferred
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, Required
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, Required
• IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
• For Colorado caregivers, Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred
• 1-2 years Work Experience CT Experience in a hospital setting, Preferred
• Current ARRT (R) (CT) registration for Level II, Required

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job.
• Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address patient concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with advancements by continuing education.
