Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. The role requires ARRT (R) in CT, BLS within 60 days, and state licensure upon hire. Level II prefers CT experience and fluoroscopy certification in Colorado.

You will maintain ARRT competency, operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, review images, and educate patients. The position is 36 hours weekly with a weekend differential and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - ARRT (R)(CT), Preferred
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, Required
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, Required
• IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
• Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred for Colorado facilities
• 1-2 years Work Experience CT Experience in a hospital setting, Preferred
• Current ARRT (R) (CT) registration for Level II Technologist
• Current BLS endorsement by AHA or obtain within 90 days (with approval)
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in continuing education.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology technologists.
