Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging in a hospital setting. You will perform CT procedures, verify orders, prep patients, and ensure privacy and comfort while maintaining radiation safety.

You will review images, document findings in RIS/PACS, operate equipment, maintain the workspace, follow infection control standards, and support patient transport and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and prepare patients using clear communication techniques.
• Administer contrast agents via venipuncture when needed, ensuring sterile techniques.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat or adjust as necessary, and document findings accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain equipment and workspaces, adhere to infection control standards, and monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Support operational workflow, assist with patient transport, and ensure regulatory compliance.
