Job summary

Plan A Health in Jasper, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting. You will operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and work within department protocols to optimize workflow.

The ideal candidate has a radiologic technology program completion, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT credentials, a BLS card, and at least one year of radiology experience, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications are required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols and capture diagnostic images.

• Ensure patient comfort, safety and privacy; administer contrast and position patients.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
• Operating imaging equipment independently, maintaining safety and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Gathering patient history, verifying orders, explaining procedures, and addressing patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy; administering contrast and positioning patients appropriately.
• Reviewing images for diagnostic quality, documenting accurately, and managing workflow efficiently.
• Responding to emergencies, supporting department operations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification.
