Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association seeks an experienced CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform CT procedures, manage contrast administration, and ensure safety protocols are followed while maintaining accurate documentation in RIS/PACS systems.

Qualifications

  • Requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications and BLS.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program is required.
  • 1+ year radiology experience preferred.

  • Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET.
  • Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during exams.
  • Administer contrast agents, position patients, and use sterile techniques when needed.
  • Review images for quality, adjust or repeat as necessary, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment/workspaces.
  • Support workflow, transport patients safely, and complete documentation and clerical tasks.

Job description

Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies technical expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging at a healthcare facility, ensuring a supportive patient experience. They collaborate with a care team, operate imaging equipment independently, and maintain safety and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures accurately, capturing diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
  • Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout exams.
  • Administer contrast agents, position patients correctly, and utilize sterile techniques when necessary.
  • Review images for quality, repeat or adjust as needed, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS systems.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and workspaces.
  • Support workflow, transport patients safely, and complete documentation and clerical tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • At least 1 year of radiology experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS.
  • Strong technical skills, attention to detail, patient communication, and adherence to safety protocols.
