Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations under radiologist direction. You will adapt procedures to obtain diagnostic results, prepare patients, and ensure accurate documentation in HIS STAR Radiology.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment knowledge, and collaboration with the radiology team to provide high-quality patient care across the department.

Qualifications

• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year (ARRT).
• Registered in Radiography (R) (ARRT).
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures accurately for patients of all ages.
• Operate CT equipment and related workstation software.
• Deviate from routine protocols as needed under radiologist direction.
• Prepare and assist with invasive procedures, labs and imaging orders.
• Ensure patient safety and timely report turnaround to physicians.
• Maintain clean work area and stock supplies in the Radiology suite.
