Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT exams under a radiologist's direction. You will adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results while maintaining patient safety and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include imaging, equipment operation, documentation in HIS STAR Radiology, and collaboration with radiologists and staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered CT technologist with ARRT certification within 1 year.
• Radiography (R) ARRT registration completed.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CT examinations under radiologist direction.
• Maintain patient safety, sterility, and QA/QC of CT equipment.
• Document pre/post procedure information and ensure timely report delivery.
• Coordinate patient flow and adapt procedures to patient condition as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support radiology department operations.
