Job summary

Carle Health seeks a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT exams, adapting procedures under radiologist guidance. The role requires independent judgment to obtain diagnostic results and involves patient preparation and safety adherence.

Ideal candidates are ARRT-registered in CT and Radiography with BLS; familiarity with STAR Radiology system and equipment troubleshooting is preferred. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification within 1 year
• ARRT Radiography certification required
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Illinois licensure as Radiologic Technologist (IEMA)

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations adapting procedures to obtain diagnostic results under radiologist direction
• Operates CT equipment, ensures patient safety and comfort, and maintains QA protocols
• Maintains clear documentation in HIS STAR Radiology system and reports equipment issues
