Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations under radiologist direction. You will adapt procedures to obtain diagnostic results, prep patients, and maintain equipment and safety standards.

The role requires ARRT CT and Radiography registrations, BLS, and completion of Radiologic Technology education. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification within 1 year.
• ARRT Radiography (R) registration.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology; Associate’s Degree: Related Field

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures ensuring accurate and complete exams.
• Exhibits competency in CT radiographic and specialized procedures.
• Deviates from routines when patient condition requires it or per radiologist request.
• Assists radiologist with invasive procedures, sterile setup, and labs/tests as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and QA/QI programs throughout procedures.
• Keeps equipment knowledge current and troubleshoots basic issues.
