Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations, adapt procedures, and ensure high-quality diagnostic results under radiologist supervision. The role requires ARRT CT registration within 1 year and radiography credentials with BLS readiness within 30 days.

The successful candidate will maintain equipment, protect patient safety, and coordinate with the radiology team to deliver accurate exams across ages, while leveraging the HIS STAR Radiology system

Qualifications

Must be ARRT CT registered within 1 year.
ARRT Radiography registration required.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Licensure as Radiologic Technologist per IEMA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence in CT imaging.
Performs procedures to ensure accurate, complete exams per department standards.
Demonstrates competency in CT radiographic and specialized procedures.
Adapts procedures as needed per patient condition and radiologist request.
Assists with sterile setup, labs, orders pathology tests, and schedules procedures.
Documents pre- and post-procedure information accurately in HIS STAR Radiology.
Maintains patient and staff safety and equipment readiness.
