Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures for trauma, stroke, cancer, and other patients. You will coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, educate patients, and support radiologists and nurses as part of the CT team.

The role offers cross-training opportunities, a supportive team, and a biweekly 80-hour schedule with 4x10hr shifts and day/evening rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
