Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to produce quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures for trauma, stroke, cancer and other patients at our Northeast Ohio facilities.

Responsibilities include patient scheduling, education, and collaborating with nurses, physicians and the CT team to deliver high-quality care. Cross-training and a strong patient-centered approach are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Work with CT team, radiologists, nurses and other care providers to ensure optimal patient care.
