Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department in Ohio is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and support patient scheduling. The role requires ARRT CT credential and a radiologic technology program graduate.

You will cross-train, work 4x10 hour day/evening shifts, with start times around 1p, and weekends every 4th Sunday. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered radiology technologist with CT credential or obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio radiographer license.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking.
• Communicate effectively with care team.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team.
