Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images across a range of settings and participate in CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements. The role involves patient scheduling, coordination, and education to ensure patient comfort and understanding.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT registration, CT credential within a year of employment, and an Ohio radiographer license, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
