107 The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority’s Atrium Health Union – Radiology Xray in Waxhaw, NC is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform exams, verify orders with radiologists, and prepare patients for procedures.

The role requires ARRT certification and a two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology, with on-call, weekend shifts, and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with the Radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify and assist patients while explaining procedures.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history; review EMRs.
• Perform exams from start to finish including IV contrast when needed.
• Operate radiology computer system and document contrast administration.
• Assist in CT scanning and invasive procedures as required.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays and weekends.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain a clean work area.
