Job summary

Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. The role includes on-call duties, weekend nights, and a sign-on bonus eligibility.

You will ensure patient safety, proper identification, and documentation. Eligibility requires ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education and CPR certification, with registry completion within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
