Job summary

Atrium Health Anson is seeking a Part-time PRN CT Technologist I in Radiology: Xray. You will perform CT procedures, verify orders with radiologists, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification, a two-year AMA Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine program, and BLS. Expect rotating shifts including holidays and weekends to support radiology services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
• BLS required

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer and question orders to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with clear explanations.
• Review patient histories and correlate tests with exams; document findings.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures; maintain sterile technique.
• Operate radiology computer systems and document contrast administration.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and report equipment issues promptly.

Education

ARRT certification in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine
