Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a patient‑centered experience. You will contribute to a collaborative radiology team and uphold safety and efficiency in daily workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS. Experience and commitment to patient safety are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients, address questions, and reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
