Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and maintain patient comfort in a busy imaging department.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, a High School Diploma, and ARRT CT certification plus BLS; one year of Radiology experience is preferred. Join a team that values collaboration, safety, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose levels.
• disinfect, clean and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications and verify patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
