Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS required.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with the Radiologist before performing exam.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Interviews patients for medical history and reviews EMR to obtain pertinent history.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and sterile technique.
