Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort. You will work within a collaborative radiology team to support department targets and ensure accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

The role emphasizes patient communication, adherence to ALARA principles, and efficient workflow in a busy imaging suite. Experience in radiology and ARRT CT certification are preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Capture quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety (ALARA).
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain room cleanliness.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and patient IDs.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; monitor patient condition and assist during emergencies.

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
