Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient-centered care in a busy radiology department. The role emphasizes safety, ALARA principles, and accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

You will participate in patient education and support to ensure a positive experience. Required ARRT certifications (Radiography and CT) and BLS, with at least 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certification plus BLS compliance.

Aufgaben

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and use technical knowledge to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA to minimize patient dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; identify and report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications; verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before any exam.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; finalize studies in RIS/PACS; monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
