Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will work with a collaborative care team to perform CT procedures and maintain safety and efficiency in a busy radiology department.

Responsibilities include using imaging equipment safely, applying ALARA principles, preparing patients, and documenting studies in RIS/PACS while ensuring patient comfort and privacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly to patients.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout exams.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document results accurately.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
