Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic images of the highest standard, and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout each visit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certifications (R and CT) and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; apply ALARA principles to minimize dose.
• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures and alleviate anxiety.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS and ensure study finalization.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support workflow and collaboration with technologists to optimize department flow.
