Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging and radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Disinfect, clean and prep rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic Acceptability and repeat if necessary while maintaining patient safety.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS, including transfers and prior exam retrieval.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock crash carts and life-support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes and support department flow.
