Job summary

Select Medical’s Select Specialty Hospital – Cincinnati North seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging and contrast administration in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires active radiologic licensure, ARRT/CMRT certification, and BLS, with a focus on patient safety and image quality.

The position is Per Diem/PRN with potential for advancement to full-time and benefits eligibility after meeting hours requirements, contributing to a patient-centered team of over 44,000

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with an active state license.
  • At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience (not including school).
  • Must hold ARRT or CMRT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must be current with Continuing Education in all licensure fields.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain the process.
  • Position patients correctly and set technical factors for quality studies.
  • Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images.
  • Administer contrast media as directed by physician.
  • Monitor patients for adverse events and report as needed.
  • Perform routine QA on equipment and identify malfunctions.
  • Handle clerical duties such as answering phones.

Location: Cincinnati, OH - Inside of TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital


Schedule: Per Diem/PRN/As NeededCompensation: $45.00 per Hour

Responsibilities


  • Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.

  • Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.

  • Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.

  • Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.

  • Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.

  • Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.

  • Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:



  • At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).

  • At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).

  • Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
