Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Columbus Vic Village(Grant) is seeking a CT Technologist/Radiology Tech for per diem shifts at our Columbus, OH location. You will perform CT imaging, administer contrast as directed, and ensure patient comfort while delivering high-quality studies.

Requires ARRT or CMRT certification, current state license, at least 2 years radiologic technologist experience and 1 year CT experience, plus BLS. Per diem benefits include orientation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with current state license.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT or CMRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in licensure fields.
• Preferred: experience with facility-specific equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

Position: CT Technologist/Radiology Tech

Location: Select Specialty Hospital Vic Village - Columbus, OH (Dennison Ave)

Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed / PRN

Compensation: $42.00 per Hour

Qualifications: ARRT or CMRT certification with current state license and2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic and at least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).

• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).

• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
