Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a CT Technologist / X-Ray Tech for a part-time role in Cincinnati, OH, inside TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and compensation ranging from $35.00 to $54.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, precise CT imaging, contrast administration, quality assurance, and some clerical duties. Requires ARRT/CMRT, BLS, and current state licensure with CT experience.

Qualifications

• AT least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and current state license.
• AT least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
