Select Specialty Hospital Vic Village Columbus is seeking a CT Technologist/Radiology Tech to join our team on a Per Diem/PRN basis in Columbus, OH. The role requires ARRT or CMRT certification, an active state license, and relevant radiology and CT experience.

You will prepare patients, operate the CT scanner, monitor for adverse events, and perform QA tasks. Per diem schedule, with $42.00 per hour compensation, and potential for advancement.

Competenze

• ARRT or CMRT certification required.
• Current state license required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• At least 1 year experience as CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Mansioni

• Prepare patient for diagnostic procedures and explain process.
• Position patient and adjust CT equipment to obtain quality images.
• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images.
• Administer contrast media as directed by physician.

Position: CT Technologist/Radiology Tech

Location: Select Specialty Hospital Vic Village - Columbus, OH (Dennison Ave)

Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed / PRN

Compensation: $42.00 per Hour

Qualifications: ARRT or CMRT certification with current state license and 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic and at least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use of proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
