Job summary

TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Part-Time CT Technologist/X-Ray Tech to join our imaging team. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $35.00–$54.00 hourly compensation based on experience.

Schedule: Part Time - 2 days per Week. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, positioning, operating the CT scanner, administering contrast, and QA. This position also supports clerical duties and patient care in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and current state license.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT or CMRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Correctly operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of desired patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for any adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties, as needed, such as answering phones.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
