Job summary

Atrium Health Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures per department protocols, operating scanners and related equipment with precision to deliver high-quality images. You will verify orders, identify patients, obtain histories, administer IV contrast as directed, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure patient safety and accurate study results.

This on-site role requires flexibility for shift rotations, occasional on-call duties, and strict adherence to radiation

Qualifications

• Graduate from ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and CT registry within 1 year.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and confirm with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and explain procedures clearly.
• Prepare patients and document medical history from EMR.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment per protocol.
• Administer IV contrast and document administration.
• Maintain radiation safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Rotate shifts and participate in on-call duties as required.
