Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with attention to departmental protocols and patient safety. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and care in a busy radiology department.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB credentials with CT registry within a year and commitment to radiation safety, sterile technique, and teamwork. Shifts rotate, including holidays and weekends, in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire; BLS.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• Ability to identify growth and development and provide age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Exams orders, verifies with Radiologist, and resolves discrepancies.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review medical history from EMR and document requisitions.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control policies.
• Rotate shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Operate radiology computer system, enter orders, and document contrast.
