Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced CT registry within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders with Radiologist before exam.
• Identifies patient using two identifiers and explains procedures.
• Reviews patient EMR to obtain clinical history and records.
• Operates CT scanners and related equipment, including IV contrast administration.
• Ensures radiation safety and sterile technique; documents procedures accurately.
