Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT examinations and assist radiologists. You will verify orders, prepare patients with clear explanations, and ensure adherence to sterile technique and radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities include documenting contrast use, operating radiology software, and collaborating with the care team during emergencies while maintaining accurate records and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and BLS required.
• Ability to operate CT instruments and maintain radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests, verifies orders, and clarifies with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and prep them with thorough explanations of procedures.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures, following sterile technique.
• Maintain equipment, document contrast administration, and ensure safety protocols.
• Rotate shifts, participate in emergencies, and uphold attendance policies.
