Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT exams, maintain ARRT competencies, and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires state licensure, BLS, and appropriate CT experience.

Qualifikationen

• ARRT certification (R) upon hire required
• Certified CT technologist ARRT (R)(CT) preferred
• BLS certification within 60 days required
• State licensure as applicable upon hire
• IV competency within 90 days required
• Colorado state facility fluoroscopy certification preferred
• Specific facility-based certifications may be required
• 1-2 years CT hospital experience preferred
• Level II: ARRT CT registration current
• Level II: BLS current or within 90 days of hire

Aufgaben

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and prep for exams
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy ensuring necessary anatomy captured
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain safe environment
• Complete studies within time expectations without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and inform other providers
• Stay updated on CT technology and protocols
• Assist and instruct students and junior technologists
